Sumena open it´s doors on April 1st

The Sumena store will open its doors on April 1st on the first floor of Pärnu Center.

Sumena started in 2021.
Through its services, Sumena reduces food waste in Estonia while offering its customers a wide range of affordable food and consumer goods. The selection in their store and online store consists mainly of perishable food products, which Sumena purchases from Estonian producers, importers and wholesalers.

Sumena operates on the principle that quality food should not go to waste . Many products are close to or past their “best before” date, but are still completely safe and fit for consumption. They are based on the science-based understanding that “best before” does not mean “gone bad”, but rather refers to a quality standard. In this way, we help extend the life cycle of products and make food consumption habits more sustainable.

In addition to food, Sumena also offers household and hygiene products, everything you need for everyday life – at affordable prices and as an environmentally conscious choice. The customers of this store are people who value both thrift and care – caring for their wallet and caring for the planet.

We operate as an online store sumena.ee and as physical stores in Tallinn, Tartu and Kohtla-Järve, and now also in Pärnu. We offer convenient ordering options all over Estonia.

Sumena is not just a store - it is a movement that aims to reduce resource waste, raise awareness about food waste and create new value chains for products that would otherwise go unused. By working with manufacturers and suppliers, we can give goods a second chance.

You are welcome to the opening of the PÄRNU store on April 1st in Pärnu Center!
