Did you know that a community garden has been established next to Lõunakeskus? The aim of this initiative is to offer LõunaTERA school and kindergarten children the opportunity to learn outdoors. Children can plant trees and bushes together, sow seeds, and explore insects working in the soil. During the summer, Lõunakeskus employees help to keep an eye on the garden. When autumn arrives, kindergarten and school children can return to take care of the garden.
The garden's opening work bee took place in the summer of 2021. The goal of the project is to add to the garden every year, so that a fun and colorful community garden is created where everyone can enjoy being active.
