Padelstar padel center and Gym! self-service gym will soon open their doors at Raadikeskus, bringing new year-round sports opportunities to the Raadi area.
In this rapidly growing city district, there have so far been few indoor training options, which is why the new services will help improve both sports opportunities and habits.
Currently, there are 18 indoor and 13 outdoor padel courts in Tartu. Raadi already has four outdoor courts, but the Padelstari center will become the area's first indoor center. According to the company, there are about 15,000 padel enthusiasts in Estonia, and in Tartu the number of players ranges from one to a couple of thousand. Padelstari estimates that several hundred people can play at the new center every day. One of the building’s key technical advantages is its eight-meter free height, which creates suitable conditions for competition formats as well.
"Raadi is one of the fastest developing districts in Tartu, and we are very pleased to open Padelstari’s second Tartu center in Raadikeskus in August 2027. The new center will feature seven courts, including a main court with stands and a spacious run-off area, which will enable us to host larger competitions and events. Our goal is to create high-quality padel opportunities for people living in Raadi and its surroundings, and to make their playing experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Of course, the center will also include saunas and a relaxation area," said Padelstari CEO Henry Kiviorg.
Gym! will open a sports club of over 1,100 square meters, which will become the company’s fourth club in Tartu County. The arrival of Padelstar and Gym! at Raadikeskus will expand the center’s range of services in a way that connects retail and service spaces more closely with daily movement and leisure activities than before.

The sports club, covering more than 1,100 m², will offer a modern and high-quality training environment, bringing diverse exercise opportunities to even more people. As with every new Gym! club, we will bring something new and exciting to Raadi compared to previous clubs. The Raadi club will be the fourth Gym! in Tartu County. Today, there are a total of 25 Gym! sports clubs in Estonia and Latvia. Both this year and next, several new clubs are expected to open in both countries," said Gym! CEO Ats Lahi.
